The Classic X is the original biscuit joiner from the inventor of the Lamello system and mills a precise 4 mm groove for wood joints. The tried-and-tested and well-designed groove cutter is fast and versatile to use. It is the basis for the wide range of connectors with fixed, self-clamping and detachable connectors. The Lamello system is an extremely efficient and precisely fitting joining system for panels and enables the production of furniture joints and mitres at all angles. Identical milling on both workpieces without adjusting the milling depth reduces possible sources of error. In addition, the lateral tolerance makes the system efficient in use, as no stops or positioning aids are required. The Classic X biscuit joiner is characterised by its precisely machined aluminium components. The milled stop surfaces on the base plate, on the swivel front stop and on the stop square enable precise contact with the workpiece. The precise interaction between the moving parts during milling results in parallel grooves for perfect accuracy of fit. Another advantage of the Classic X is the fixed pivot point of the swivel stop, which means that the groove is always precisely in the same position. This means that the swivel front stop can also be folded up or down repeatedly during work, without causing dimensional inaccuracies. However, the highlight of the Lamello biscuit joiner is the multifunctional stop square. It is pushed onto the base plate for the safe handling of the machine when milling into the surface. It is also used to precisely adjust the groove position by 0–50 mm or to create mitres even more precisely by placing them on the outer surface of the furniture.
Applications:
The production of 4 mm grooves for wood joining in furniture construction, interior fitting or shopfitting
Ideal system for panels, especially for thin workpieces from a material thickness of 8 mm
Any angle or mitre connections at 22.5°–180°
Further applications: create grooves in panels, cut expansion gaps and mill out resin pockets
