Helical bar is used in a variety of applications, in general the metre lengths are used for crack stitching and reinforcing masonry in both new and existing masonry structures.
The deformation of the fins makes the bonding characteristics of the helical bar far superior to alternative standard reinforcing materials.

Application:
Helical bar is used as stitching rods for cracked masonry surfaces.
Helical bars are embedded in to mortar beds, before starting make sure the surface is clean and sound.
Using a diamond blade wall chaser a lot needs to be cut into the mortar.
Mix the Speed Pro grout for Helical Bar and then apply along the cut bead then push the Helical Bar into the slot and then apply second continuous bead of grout on the Helical bar making sure it is tightly packed.
Once that stage is complete fill in the joint and fill in the vertical crack with filler or mortar.
