  • With the addition of protruding wings below the thread, this screw is specially designed to create cavities in timber to maintain strength even when the timber expands and contracts.
  • After the screw travels through the timber, the TEK drill point helps to penetrate the steel, eliminating the need for pre-drilling.
  • Once the wings hit steel they snap off so that the screw thread engages with the material.
